The Covid-19 pandemic made 2020 a very challenging year for churches and by association our business. Despite the Governments support we were unable to hold on to all our staff and we recently had to make two long-serving members of staff redundant, Rebecca Davey and Susie Curry. Many of you will have dealt with them and know how helpful and professional they were. It is so sad to see them go but that is the reality of the pandemic and how it affects businesses and livelihoods. We wish them well for the future.
We continue to restructure the business so that we can continue to serve you whilst navigating these difficult trading conditions. We have good stocks of all popular church candles, consumables, cleaning products, PPE, furnishing's and vestments/clerical wear. We have also been hard at work identifying products that will help support worship from home and of course we welcome your suggestions either by writing in the comments or by email to info@dmhay.co.uk
We are currently preparing this years choice of paschal candles and wax reliefs and/or transfers. We'll email you when this is complete so you can view the choices.
Finally, we'd like to say thank you to everyone who has offered kind words of support or have placed orders. We really appreciate it. We pray that this pandemic will be over soon.
